Bell Angler Canoe Package
This issue’s prize is a
worth over $1,800
We’ve hooked-up a great prize for this issue’s contest—a Bell Angler
canoe package with a retail value of $1,803.80!
The 14’ 4” Bell Angler is purpose built for fly fishing. Made from Bell Royalex, a
strong and resilient thermo-plastic engineered to maximize stiffness and durability
while minimizing weight, it’s the perfect hull material for canoeing in moving water
where impact with hard stuff is pretty much assured. The Angler’s constant-radius,
shallow-arch hull design, and its resulting elliptical, cross-center underwater profile,
provide the ultimate combination of initial and secondary stability. Oh, you can
tip it over, but you really have to work at it.
The Angler ($1,662) comes in green with nice, quiet vinyl gunwales, two
folding-back, padded swivel seats, adjustable workstation thwart with sliding
rod holder, fly box and drink holder, solid ash carry-yoke thwart, recessed carry
handles, and a super-smooth deck that acts like a giant stripping basket. It weighs
58 pounds and has a carrying capacity of over 600 pounds. Two Breeze paddles
are also included ($70.90 each).
