Cortland Brook Series Rods
Cortland is introducing its new Brook Series of 4-piece rods
specifically designed to meet the needs of small-stream trout and

Scierra CC3 Waders
Scierra is introducing three models of breathable waders in their
new CC3 line. Both bootfoot and stockingfoot chest waders will
be offered, as well as a stockingfoot waisthigh.
All three models are constructed
from three-layer, laminated fabric with a
Finetex breathable membrane that features
a 3,500 gram per square meter per 24 hour
water vapor transport rating, and a 20,000
millimeter waterproofness rating.
The chest-highs include an adjustable,
reversible suspension system, two
laminated, waterproof-zippered chest
pockets, flip-out interior pocket, and
an adjustable wader belt. The stockingfoot
model includes integral mesh
gravel guards with lace hooks, while
the bootfoot model comes with felt
soles. The waist-high stockingfoots
feature a waterproof front zipper, two
waterproof-zippered slash pockets,
integral mesh gravel guards with lace
hooks, and an adjustable wader belt.

Scott S4 Rods
The next generation of Scott rods-the new S4 Series-is here.
Comprised of twelve models ranging from an 8-foot 3-weight to a
9.5-foot 8-weight, all are 4-piece designs priced at $675.
S4s are some of the lightest fly rods yet devised, with the 9-foot
5-weight weighing only 2.9 oz., and the 9-foot 8-weight tipping the
scales at a svelte 3.9 oz. S4s are designed to generate very high line
speeds and cast flat, tight loops. And thanks to newly designed fast
RIO Gold Line
The new RIO Gold line is the first floating trout line to incorporate
all of RIO's recent technologies: SFT super flotation
tip, XS extreme slickness outer coating, and AgentX low-density
undercoating. It also gets a two-color coating-moss green head
and gold running line-and a welded loop at the
tip for leader changes.
But perhaps the most innovative feature of
the RIO Gold is its extreme weight-forward
taper, designed to load fast-action rods with a
very short line, but still deliver heavier flies at
long range or in unfavorable winds. A 6-inch
level tip is followed by a steep 5-foot front
taper, transitioning into a two-stage, 30-foot,
