Scientific Anglers Streamer Express
Another great choice in integrated heads is the collection Mastery Series Streamer Express
lines from Scientific Anglers. Available in a Rapid Sinking model with a high-density sinking
head and floating running line, or a Clear Tip model with a clear intermediate-density sinking
head and intermediate running line, all of these 100-foot lines are built on single-strand
mono cores and feature 30-foot heads, 12-foot “handling line” sections behind the head, and
55 feet of running line. Rapid Sinking models are density compensated for straight-line sink,
and are offered in grain weights from 150 through 450 in 50-grain increments, with sink
rates of 5.5 to 8.0 i.p.s. Clear Tip models feature hard, small diameter, intermediate-density
running line (the entire line sinks at 1.75 to 2.25 i.p.s.), and are available in grain weights

Teeny Dan Marini Striper
Designed by Jim Teeny and Capt. Dan Marini, a Northeast saltwater guide who specializes
in striped bass, the Teeny Professional Series Dan Marini Striper lines are purpose built for the
conditions most frequently encountered when stalking big stripers. These 105-foot integrated
heads feature intermediate density running lines and 30-foot, high-density sinking heads that
are thinner in diameter than most others, presenting a smaller cross section for long shots into
the wind. Three models are offered. The 275-grain version, intended for 7- to 9-weight rods,
has aqua-colored running line and sinks at a rate of 6 i.p.s. The 8- to 10-weight 375-grainer has
yellow running line and sinks at 7 i.p.s., while the 475-grain 9- to 12-weight version is orange
and sinks at 8 i.p.s. The running lines all sink at 1.5 to 2 i.p.s. See them at your fly shop ($62),
